summer vibes
We absolutely refuse to talk about anything Back to School! (oops, we JUST said it!) Instead, this month’s newsletter is all about our favorite summer things, beach reads and fun happenings around the Seattle area, if you are staycationing this month.
Also - if you are throwing a party or two, or need an easy drink for a camping trip - we’ve got an elevated batch cocktail that will please any crowd.
Hope you are all staying cool and are able to make the most of these long summer days. Don’t forget your sunscreen!

favorite
things
THE trendy, yet beach-and swoon-worthy splurge to hold all of your beach day goodies. Waterproof and virtually indestructible!
Instead of hauling that pesky umbrella and pole down to the sand or grass, bite the bullet (they’re not cheap), and snag this oh-so handy shade for blocking earth’s yellow sun’s troublesome rays.
SkinCeuticals Tinted Moisturizer
Not just for the summer, this tinted moisturizer is the perfect barely-there tint (that works on many skin tones), yet with a lasting 50 spf that we all need to be slathering on our beautiful skin, daily!
We just love all of these fun, flattering styles, and at a very affordable price, you can buy a few to keep your style fresh this summer!
Found in every shade and combo imaginable, these flips have the best arch support and last forever. Another splurge-worthy purchase.
Made with cactus flower, this gentle exfoliant feels so great on the body. It sloughs off all that junk off your skin, leaving a yummy barely-there mandarin scent.

jen’s beach reads
With 4 in the series, this sweet and smart novel is soon to be a Netflix show with an absolute all-star cast. We highly recommend reading it now (along with the remaining 3 in the series), before watching.
A rollicking good time, this stressed-out-romance-novelist-mom of two, turns into an accidental hit(wo)man through hilarious hijinks. Good news, there’s 3 more in this series as well.
